Fondren Science Building

Fondren Science Building

This Collegiate-Georgian style building is home to the departments of Physics, Geology, and Geography at SMU. Constructed in 1950, at the time was 50% larger than any other building on campus, plus had the added benefit of being air-conditioned. In the clock tower is a 25-bell carillon gifted by the 1952 graduating class.
