Perkins Chapel was dedicated in 1951 at Southern Methodist University. The chapel reflects Sir Christopher Wren's Georgian style through the use of brick and stone. After serving the campus and community for 48 years, the chapel was renovated in 1999 thanks to the continued generosity of the Perkins and Prothro families.
